One of London’s Most Popular Pizzerias Is Looking to Close Down Two Locations

One of London's most well-liked independent pizza joints, Homeslice, will shut down two of its eateries: one on Well Street in Fitzrovia and one on Old Street in Shoreditch.

The two restaurants have been mentioned in relation to restaurant real estate and on Eater London documents that correspond "secret" web listings with the business Hay Hill property.

Rent for the Old Street location, which this year partnered with chef Neil Rankin's plant-based Symplicity brand, is £135,000.

Fitzrovia's location is no longer listed on the Homeslice website, but it still says "Temporarily closed due to maintenance" under the Old Street page.

Eater attempted to get in touch with Homeslice both directly and through reps, but neither option received a response.

For its 20-inch pizzas that are available whole or by the slice, Homeslice has gained a devoted following and an excellent reputation throughout the city. without Fitzrovia and Old Street.

The company Mark Wogan formed in 2013 is still operating the Seven Dials restaurant in Neal's Yard as well as more recent buildings in the City and Marylebone.
